2012 Lionsgate Catalog Cover Features Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′

Posted April 25th, 2012 By: Evie 2 Comments »

The always incredibly resourceful Frosty over at Collider took it upon himself to snap a picture of the 2012 Lionsgate Catalog while at the CinemaCon party for Lionsgate/Summit today. The catalog cover features scenes and characters from many of the films that they will be releasing this year, including a nice little picture of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as Edward and Bella in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, as well as a separate little shot of Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Check out the picture below:

Go check out more of the tweets from Frosty at Collider here (including a shot of a banner for Breaking Dawn - Part 2) and of course you can check out the Collider website here.

Nice to see that Lionsgate is embracing the last segment of The Twilight Saga with open arms. Hopefully this means lots of exciting promotion to look forward to over the next several months!

Thanks Noor!

What do you think of the 2012 Lionsgate catalog cover?

Jack Morrissey Answers More ‘Breaking Dawn’ Questions

Posted September 26th, 2011 By: Evie 1 Comment »

Jack Morrissey pretty much answers fan questions and chats with Twilighters non-stop on twitter. Jack of course is Bill Condon’s partner, and the best friend a Twilighter could have. Recently Jack sat down to answer several questions about Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and gave us a little more insight to what we might expect. Read more below:

Q: Could you tell me what tint Breaking Dawn will have? (Twilight had blue)

A: Do you think the next two had a tint as well? This one goes to too many countries to have one color through it. Also, the idea of a single color used like that feels like a Catherine Hardwicke signature (see also Red Riding Hood).

Q: Will wee see Bella’s Mercedes Guardian in the movie?

A: No, we go straight to the Cullen house. Sorry! One of those scenes that doesn’t serve an overall movie story pace.

Q: The Meadow is such an integral part of Bella and Edward’s story, are there any meadow scenes in Breaking Dawn 1 & 2?

A: It’s TWILIGHT, so of course there are scenes set in meadows and fields.

Q: One other thing I’ve missed in the series is the emphasis on Bella and Alice’s friendship! That has been lacking.

A: Well, you won’t be missing that anymore, believe me.

Q: Everyone deserves a round of applause for stepping up the wow factor on this one! If the trailer is any indication, then omg!

A: Actually here’s my favorite thing about the trailer – it’s very good, but it doesn’t prepare you for the movie you’re getting.

Twifans has compiled a great list of the tweets and you can see them all here. Follow Jack Morrissey on twitter here, and be sure to follow TA here.

I adore Jack, he is so awesome to the fans!

Does this make you feel reassured about Breaking Dawn - Part 1? Do you have more questions?

Posted September 6th, 2011 By: Evie 7 Comments »

Jack Morrissey might just be the best friend that Twilight fans have ever had. Jack is of course Bill Condon’s partner, and he regularly updates his twitter account, sometimes sharing little tidbits of information. Thanks to a couple of Jack’s latest tweets, we found out that Bill (and Jack) are currently in London to work on the score for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. In addition, lucky guy that he is, Jack even got a peek at the set of Snow White and the Hunstmen where Kristen Stewart is currently filming. Check out Jack’s tweets below:

Twilightus tweets: “Oh Jack, what are you doing in London????”

IzzySpice tweets: “Enjoy and hope you see Kristen!”

SWATHFansite tweets: “I have to say I’m quite jealous you got a peek at the SWATH castle ;)

Right now I’m just jealous of all the pictures of London that Jack tweeted. I want to go over to the UK so bad. Now that I got that out, I can do a little jumping around in excitement of the score of Breaking Dawn!

What do you think of Jack’s twitter updates? Are you excited to hear the score?

Robert Pattinson’s Entertainment Weekly Cover Eye Color Mystery Solved

Posted August 16th, 2011 By: Evie 2 Comments »

Apparently it did not go unnoticed by fans when Robert Pattinson’s Edward appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly (alongside Kristen Stewart’s Bella) without his famous golden eye color. The reaction was quick and panicked, “Where were Edward’s golden eyes?” But really we ought to know better than to worry about something like eye color at this point in the Saga! Jack Morrissey, Bill Condon’s partner, has taken to his twitter account to assure Twilighters that the scene show on the cover of Entertainment Weekly was only a rehearsal. So fear not! Edward will have those famous golden eyes in Breaking Dawn. Check out more after the jump:

Jack Morrissey tweets:

“Isnt it “His Brown Eyes”? Contact lenses and visual effects. There are lots of eyes on stuff like that, so don’t worry!”

“Yes, he does. That’s a rehearsal.”

“Bill says they both had their contacts in for the actual take.”

“C’mon, “his GOLDEN eyes” is like TWI 101!”

So relax! It’s all good. Honestly, I had to go back and look at my copy of Entertainment Weekly to see what all the fuss was about, and low and behold, Rob definitely has his own eye color on the cover. So it is a bit understandable why people panicked, but no worries, it was just practice!

Did you notice Rob’s eye color on the Breaking Dawn cover of Entertainment Weekly?

Chris Weitz Jokes About ‘New Moon’ Frolic Scene, Blames Robert Pattinson

Posted July 17th, 2011 By: Evie 4 Comments »

Chris Weitz has always been honest that the New Moon scene with Bella and Edward running through the woods, known as the “frolic scene”, just didn’t work. Instead of the more “aw” sweet response that was expected, the scene got more laughter than anything else. Yesterday when the frolic scene was brought up once again to Chris on his twitter account, Chris simply joked that it was all Robert Pattinson’s idea. Check out the tweets from Chris below:

You can follow Chris Weitz on twitter here and be sure to follow TA on twitter here!

Poor Chris, he’s never, ever going to hear the end of it when it comes to that scene. But I love this tweet, leave it to Chris to realize that most Twilighters would forgive Rob for anything, including that frolic scene. (Which admittedly, I actually liked!)

What do you think of Chris joking that the frolic scene in New Moon was all Rob’s idea?
