Posted June 8th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

Back at the MTV Movie Awards last weekend, MTV had the chance to chat with a few members of the cast and crew from Breaking Dawn - Part 2 including Kristen Stewart, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed and Wyck Godfrey. Here both Jackson and Nikki give some hints for their favorite scenes we can look forward to this fall. Check it all out below:

Leading lady Kristen Stewart said we should be looking forward to the film’s change in tone and, of course, Bella’s transition from human into nonhuman.

“It’s so bizarre, the tone change. You’ve always been behind her. You’ve always been using her. She’s how you see that world,” Stewart said. “Now that her perspective has completely changed, it’s like ‘Where am I?’ It’s really cool. I, myself, am still a little bit shell-shocked. It’s not like sitting down and watching a ‘Twilight’ movie.”

Co-star Jackson Rathbone didn’t have much to offer up in the form of specifics for his character Jasper Cullen, but he made up for it with his unabashed excitement for the film.

“Yes! Oh, man! I can’t really talk about it, though. I’m not allowed to,” Rathbone said. “If you just noticed, I went to a happy place and I think everybody’s going to really love it. The littlest hints? It’s awesome.”

The best bit of intrigue came from Nikki Reed, who hinted at some pretty special vampire girl-on-big baddie fight sequences.

“Well, you never know what’s going to end up in there,” she said. “[But] there was a pretty kick-ass battle sequence that I did with two of the other girls that I think should be pretty cool, if they leave it in there. So I’m looking forward to that ’cause we trained for it for a while. [We did] a little fight training. It was me and Ashley [Greene] and Kristen, and we did this like three girls back-to-back thing where we beat up some huge dudes,” she recalled. “That’s always fun.”

Last but certainly not least was a chance encounter with producer Wyck Godfrey who, unlike the cast, has seen the film several times already in post-production. Godfrey promised that we’ll see our favorite characters meet their destinies, along with a hint about what to expect from the ending.

“For me, the last movie is all about closure and the characters finally coming fully into themselves about what their destinies are,” Godfrey said. “Edward becoming, in a sense, the patriarch of the family; Bella becoming a mother and a vampire finally, which I think is truly the thing everyone wants to see. It is ultimately the closure of their lives. For those that have followed [the films] from beginning to end, there is a great final moment where you really get to re-live that entire the experience and I think that is something the fans can look forward to.”

Stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone and producer Wyck Godfrey took the stage to accept the award from presenter and Stewart’s “Panic Room” co-star, Jodie Foster.

“Thank you so much, you guys, I know I always say the same thing,” Stewart said. “I’ve been promoting ‘Snow White,’ and I get asked a lot of questions, especially about ‘Twilight,’ which I love. The most common is, like, ‘God, you must be so happy to get away from it. You must be so happy to distance yourself from it as far away as you possibly can.’ And I’m like, ‘Shut up! What are you talking about?’ I know we’ve been here for a while, so really, thank you very much.”

“We really have so many people to thank, not only for this award but for the past few years,” Lautner chimed in. “But first and foremost, we have to thank you guys. I want to thank the whole entire cast and crew for their hard work and passion on this. Our producers, Wyck Godfrey and Karen Rosenfelt. Our incredible director Bill Condon, all of Summit Entertainment. And I forgot a big one, the creator of this thing, producer and author Stephenie Meyer. I’m so excited for you guys to see the last and final part of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ in theaters November 16.”

Jackson Rathbone in New Trailer for ‘Zombie Hamlet’

Posted May 13th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

Quite honestly, I’m going to have to say that this trailer is the first time I’ve ever heard of the following project. Here you’ll see the very first trailer for a little movie that features Jackson Rathbone, titled Zombie Hamlet. I’ll let IMDB sum up the film for me, as it’s one crazy plot that does indeed manage to combine both zombies and Hamlet, as well as a little morbid humor as well. Check out the trailer below:

Desperate filmmaker Osric Taylor dreams of making his civil war Hamlet but when production funding dries up, he agrees to take southern matron Hester Beauchamps offer to fund the film if he throws some zombies in it to make their money back. But when Hester dies in mid shoot, Osric dresses up as Hester to cash the last check and awakens the suspicions of both the local police and ambitious local news reporter Shine Reynolds. Inspired by an actual incident.

Thanks Noor!

Really? Inspired by an actual incident?! Poor Shakespeare! ;)

A new behind-the-scenes video has turned up online that features Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone as they practice for their big dance scene which takes place during the wedding reception in Breaking Dawn - Part 1. The duo is being coached along by choreographer Paul Becker as they twirl and dance across the room. Check out the video below:

Thanks Becky!

This is a cute look at Ashley and Jackson working hard to perfect some fancy footwork! Honestly, the scene in the movie threw me a little, but I guess it is cute to see Alice and Jasper get some time together as a couple.

What do you think of this behind-the-scenes look at Ashley and Jackson rehearsing their dance? Did you like the actual scene in Breaking Dawn - Part 1 where Alice and Jasper show off their dance moves?

Jackson Rathbone Talks ‘Aim High’, ‘Twilight’, and Becoming a Dad

Hollywood TV has a nice little chat with Jackson Rathbone at the Writers Guild Awards where he made an appearance to support the writers for Aim High. Here Jackson chats about his experience with Aim High, his feelings on the Twilight franchise, and his excitement on becoming a dad for the first time. Check out the video below:

Jackson Rathbone was at the Writers Guild Awards today in Hollywood. While we had a chance, we talked with him about his series “Aim High”, the Twilight films, and congratulated him on his upcoming baby!

Very classy the way Jackson informed the reporter that he was there to support the writers of his show and didn’t really want to get into his personal life. He took the congratulations and then politely ended it there. Way to go Jackson!
