Relationship to the Cullens: When they met the Cullens, the Denali were already “vegetarian” vampires and bonded with them over this shared lifestyle choice. They have been close friends since and consider each other as extended family.
Relationship to the Volturi: Tanya, Kate, and Irina’s “mother” was executed by the Volturi for creating an Immortal Child. Eleazar was originally a member of the Volturi Guard but left to travel with Carmen, eventually joining up with the Denali sisters.

Relationship to the Cullens: Carlisle is aware of Amun & Benjamin and goes to Amun to invite them to join in standing against the Volturi threat.
Relationship to the Volturi: As the Volturi were taking over Egypt, as a means of survival Amun and Kebi submitted to the Volturi leaving Amun bitter at being forced to comply with the Volturi’s demands. Amun has since tried to gather his own talented force but Aro has enjoyed toying with Amun by luring gifted individuals away from Amun’s coven and into the Volturi guard.

Relationship to the Cullens: All the members of the Irish coven are old friends of Carlisle. They come to Forks to help their old friend stand against the Volturi threat.
Relationship to the Volturi: The Irish have no previous relationship with the Volturi. During her first century as a vampire, Siobhan met a few Volturi guards and considered approaching the Volturi for official consideration, but ultimately she never did.

Relationship to the Cullens: Always looking for an opportunity to fight the Volturi, the Romanian’s hear the Cullens are standing up to the Volturi and come to forks in hopes of fighting and overthrowing the Volturi.
Relationship to the Volturi: The Romanian coven ruled the vampire world until the Volturi decimated the coven and took over power. When the Romanians were overthrown, both Stefan & Vladimir lost their mates during the battles. They constantly search for ways to damage the Volturi’s power & take any possible revenge against them. The Volturi periodically send vampires after them, but the Romanian Coven remains on guard against them.

Every year Entertainment Weekly takes the hundreds or thousands? of actors that attend Comic Con and puts them in their very own “photo booth” at the convention, creating priceless portraits of our cast that we keep forever. The 2012 Comic Con is generating even more pictures for The Twilight Saga with the expansion of vampires for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Here we have of course the Cullen family with Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone; and then we have several new cast members as well! Included are Rami Malek (Benjamin) and Angela Sarafyan (Tia) from the Egyptian Coven, Patrick Brennan (Liam), Marlane Barnes (Maggie), and Lisa Howard (Siobhan) from the Irish Coven, Noel Fisher (Vladimir) and Guri Weinberg (Stefan) from the Romanian Coven, and Tracy Heggins (Senna) and Judi Shekoni (Zafrina) of the Amazon Coven. Also included are Casey LaBow (Kate) and Maggie Grace (Irina) of the Denali Coven with Janelle Froelich (Yvette) of the French Coven. Josh Horowitz of MTV had the chance to chat with ome of cthe members of the Denali Coven for a recent Comic Con special, and here he talks with Maggie Grace, Casey LaBow and Mia Maestro about their experience on set for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. The girls talk about the epic fight scene briefly before launcing into an explanation of the epic dance scene that they staged as a surprise for Bill Condon and an overall morale boost. IndieWire has more good casting news for the Twi family of actors, this time for Denali Coven vampire, Carmen, as played by the lovely Mia Maestro. Mia is set to play one in a series of ex-girlfriends to a character who is searching out all of his exes on the night before his wedding, based on the play Some Girls. Read more below:
