Thanks Noor!

I love Jamie so much. He gets so funny with interviewers when he’s talking about anything related to Twilight. It’s obvious he’s always trying to fluster them, (flip?!) and frequently does quite a good job!

What did you think of this interview with Jamie? Do you like Jamie’s sense of humor?

Could ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Take the Box Office by Storm?

Posted March 27th, 2012 By: Evie 4 Comments »

Right on the heels of the Access Hollywood discussion regarding the different yet similar demographics between The Twilight Saga and The Hunger Games, Hollywood.com has an article that focuses solely on the magic of the first teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Could the magic of seeing Bella finally find her place in the world as a vampire bring Breaking Dawn - Part 2 to the top of the box office? Read more below:

Naysayers beware: even those who met the first films of the series with lukewarm reactions were turned around by Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (here’s our review for proof), while 2012 is shaping up to be Stewart’s year of image redefinition. Here, she’s completely alive in a way we haven’t seen her before. For those who hoped Stewart would one day come alive on screen, her turn as a bloodthirsty undead may, ironically, the be that opportunity.

Watch the tail end of the spot, Bella emerging from behind a tree, ready to hunt down a deer. Bizarre, crazy and in perfectly tune with director Bill Condon’s previous installment, there’s reason to believe Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will top its predecessors. There’s a new vampire in town and it appears she’s ready to give the Twlight series even more bite.

Official ‘Breaking Dawn’ Site Updated for ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′

Posted March 24th, 2012 By: Evie 2 Comments »

The official website for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been updated again this week! This time the site is now ready for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. In honor of the first sneak peek at Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the site has a facelift with new background colors, the new title treatment and of course the brand new sneak peek. So far I’m not noticing an official tagline on the page yet. Check out some screencaps below:

Go check the official site out here and see The World of Twilight here.

Thanks Noor! (Via Gossip-Dance)

I love the background colors. They are simply beautiful. Since we never got any special “Twilight Saga world” updates for Breaking Dawn - Part 1, I’d love to see some for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. It would be great to see all of the different covens together with their characters explained, and then have all of the nomads described as well. Just like they did back when the whole wolf pack was introduced,it made it kind of fascinating.

What do you think of the official Breaking Dawn movie site updates so far?

MTV’s List of Five Things They Want To See in the ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Trailer

Posted March 21st, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

After our very first tiny glimpse of the much anticipated teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn - Part 2, MTV has put together a wish list of sorts. MTV has put together a list of their top five things that they want to see in the full length teaser trailer coming up this week. See if you agree!

Arm Wrestling and Other Bella-as-a-Vampire Scenes
So Bella is a vampire now. Hopefully that doesn’t surprise anyone at this point, since everyone who saw “Breaking Dawn - Part 1″ got a little sneak peek of those freaky-colored eyes of hers. As such, we should see a whole new side of Bella in this movie, including an arm wrestling match with Emmett. “I am hoping to see some vampire action in the full trailer,” Mathews said. “There are some great training scenes from the book I hope they include, as well as some great cottage scenes with Bella and Edward! I expect to see lots of Bella as a vampire, and I’m OK with that!”

A Lee Pace Sighting
I’ve mentioned my enthusiasm for the new castmembers before, particularly my affection for Lee Pace, but it is worth repeating until more people appreciate him. Pace, whom you might recognize from his excellent work on the short-lived TV series “Pushing Daisies” or Tarsem’s “The Fall,” plays American nomadic vamp Garrett in “Breaking Dawn - Part 2,” and although he isn’t one of the major players in the film, his character still has a nice arc and I’m dying to see more of him.

Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee Cullen
Remember when Edward and Bella had a baby? Of course you do; how can anyone forget that graphic scene? Anyway, baby Renesmee grows up really fast in the second film, and she’s being played by beautiful young actress Mackenzie Foy, who has already told us a few adorable things about working with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. I would very much like to see her in action in the trailer.

See the other two things at MTV here.

Thanks Noor!

Maggie Grace on ‘Taken 2′ and ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′

Posted March 20th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

We have yet one more interview with the lovely Maggie Grace from her time at WonderCon where she was busy promoting Lockdown. Collider’s interview with Maggie was so long they decided to split the interview into two parts, with this first part concentrating on Maggie’s work in Taken 2 and Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Maggie gives us some insight into the different costume stylization she experienced with Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the popularity of Twilight and how much of it falls onto Robert Pattinson, and why she feel her character, Irina, is really misunderstood. Check out the video below:

At this weekend’s WonderCon, I was able to sit down with Maggie Grace (Lost) for an extended interview. The reason she was attending the con was to promote Luc Besson‘s high-octane outer space thriller Lockout that also stars Guy Pearce. In the film, Pearce plays Snow, a man wrongly accused of conspiracy to commit espionage. His one chance at a pardon comes when he is tasked with rescuing the president’s daughter from a maximum security outer space prison facility when the inmates take control. Lockout is the feature directorial debut of James Mather and Stephen St. Leger and it opens April 13th. For more on the film, here’s a five minute clip and our recap of the WonderCon panel.

Since my interview with Grace covered a number of her upcoming projects like Taken 2 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, I decided to break it up into two parts. In today’s installment, Grace talks about the success of the first Taken and what the sequel is about. In addition, with Grace playing Irina Denali in the final Twilight movie, she describes her character, what it was like to work for Bill Condon, what the fans have been like, and a lot more. Hit the jump to watch and look for more with Grace tomorrow.
